Holi Hai!!!


Holi, the festival of colours, is uniquely North Indian festival. Even though it is not much celebrated in South India, people live in South join with their friends and neighbours and enjoy this happy occasion.

    For normal ulunda vadai, we only add use urad dal isn’t it. Why do we add tuvar dal for thayir vadai ?
    Does it give a good texture ?

  9. Hi Anu, When you add thuvar dhal the dough will be firm and the vadai also little heavier than ordinary ulundu vadai. This will make the vadai stay firm even you soak it in curd.
