Spicy Onion Chutney

Spicy onion chutney is a popular condiment in Indian cuisine. It is made by sautéing pearl (sambar) onions with red chilies, tamarind and then grinding them into a paste or coarse mixture. The chutney is typically tangy, spicy, and slightly sweet. It can be served as a dip, spread, or accompaniment to various dishes such as dosas, idlis, parathas, or even as a condiment for sandwiches and burgers.
