Cucumber Curd Pachadi

This traditional pachadi or raitha is made with cucumber and yoghurt. It can be served with any flavored rice or pulav.

This traditional pachadi or raitha is made with cucumber and yoghurt. It can be served with any flavored rice or pulav.

Ingredients

  • Cucumber – 1 No

  • Thick Curd – 1 cup

  • Green Chillies – 2

  • Fresh ginger – a small piece

  • Curry leaves – few

  • Pomegranate pearls (Optional) – few

  • Salt – ½ teaspoon

Directions

  • Remove the skin and seeds from cucumber and cut it into small pieces.
  • Chop green chillies, ginger, curry leaves and add to the cucumber along with salt.
  • Add the curd (Beaten well) and stir well. Garnish with pomegranate pearls.
  • Note: For one cup cucumber pieces, you have to add one cup curd.
