Ingredients
Wheat flour – 2 cups
Salt – 2 teaspoons
Onion – 1 chopped finely
Green Chillies – 3 to 4 chopped finely
Curry leaves – few
Directions
- Combine wheat flour and salt in a bowl, adding water gradually to create a thin batter. Stir in chopped onions, chillies, and curry leaves for added flavor.
- Heat a tawa over medium heat and lightly grease it with oil. Before pouring the batter, give it a quick mix and add a bit more water to achieve a consistency slightly thinner than that of idli batter.
- Using a large ladle, pour the batter onto the tawa, starting at the edge and spiraling inward to form a circle, much like you would when making rawa dosa. Drizzle a teaspoon of oil around the edges of the dosa to encourage crisping.
- Once the first side is cooked and lightly browned, carefully flip the dosa and cook the other side until done. Remove from the tawa and serve hot.
- Optional: For an even crispier dosa, consider incorporating a small amount of maida and rice flour into the batter.
