Hi i have tried Ellu (Til Seeds) Thuvaiyal but its in bitter taste. I dont know what mistake i did. Could u please explain.
Hi Monaa,
Til is having slight bitterness. But if it is too much, then til is overfried.
Ok thank you. I will try it once more. I love til seed smell…..
Hi I want to know if it is possible to use white till seeds?
Yes. You can use white til seeds too. Onlything is the thuvaiyal will be light in colour.
Today I made this thuvayal and had it with Kanji. Delicious and really good aroma!
Thank you Anitha Manohar for your kind feed back.
I tried your ellu thuvaiyal yesterday. I used white variety as I happened to have it on hand. It was awesome. My daughter who loves peanut chutney thought it was peanut chutney. What a great healthy substitute. Thank you.
Thank you for your kind feed back.
