Enjoy this yummy mango chutney with any kind of millet dosa, like Ragi or wheat flour. It’s tangy and delicious. You can also have it with idli/dosa if you like.

Ingredients

  • Raw mango cut into small pieces – 1/2 cup

  • Coconut gratings – 2 tablespoons

  • Green Chillies – 4

  • Fresh coriander leaves – few

  • Ginger – a small piece

  • Roasted peanut – 1 tablespoon

  • Salt – 1/2 teaspoon or as per taste

  • For seasoning:
  • Oil – 1 teaspoon

  • Mustard – 1/2 teaspoon

  • Urad dal – 1 teaspoon

  • Asafoetida powder – 2 pinches

Directions

  • In a mixie jar put mango pieces, coconut gratings, green chillies, ginger, roasted peanut, coriander leaves and salt.
  • Grind it to a coarse paste.
  • Season it with mustard, urad dal and asafoetida powder.
