Tomato

Tomatos have good nutritive value and are good source of potassium, B- carotene (vitamin A) and vitamin C. It is very low in calories and advisable to weight reducing diet.
Tomatoes are rich in lycopene which is very helpful in reducing the risk of heart disease and cancer. Lycopene is activated while cooking. To get this extra benefit, cook the tomato or use tomato paste/sauce in your cooking.
