Discover a delicious recipe for pan-fried baby corn, seasoned with sambar powder and turmeric for a flavorful twist. Perfect as a side or snack!

Ingredients

  • Baby Corn – 200 gm

  • Sambar Powder – 2 teaspoons

  • Turmeric Powder – a pinch

  • Salt – 1 teaspoon or as per tate

  • Oil – 2 tablespoons

Directions

  • Boil 4 to 5 cups of water in a pot and add the baby corn. Let it boil for 2 to 3 minutes, then remove.
  • Once slightly cooled, slice each cob lengthwise into two halves. Place the halved baby corns on a plate, and season with sambar powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix gently to coat evenly. If needed, add one or two tablespoons of water to ensure even coating.
  • In a non-stick pan, heat some oil. Lay the seasoned baby corn in a single layer and cook over medium heat. After a few minutes, flip them over to cook the other side. Continue this process until the baby corn is well-fried and turns golden brown.
