Ellu Sadam, also known as Ellodharai, is a flavorful dish made with a combination of sesame seeds and lentils. This “Sesame Rice” or “Til Rice” recipe originates from South India and is a popular choice for a tasty variety rice dish. Traditionally, it is prepared specifically on Saturdays during the Tamil month of Puratasi (புரட்டாசி) and offered as Prasad to the Gods.
Tried out, very tasty something different.
