This quick and easy to make raita can be served with pulao or any variety rice, specially with Tomato Rice.

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Thick curd

  • 1/4 Cup Karaboondhi

  • 2 Pinches Cumin powder

  • 1 Pinch Red Chilli Powder

  • 2 Pinches Salt

  • Few Fresh coriander leaves

Directions

  • Whip the curd and add cumin powder, red chilli powder and salt. Mix it. Then add karaboondhi and once again mix it well.
  • Sprinkle a pinch of each cumin and red chilli powder on top of it and garnish with chopped coriander leaves.

Notes

  • Goes well with pulao or any variety rice, specially with Tomato Rice.
    We can use store bought Karaboondi for easy and instant raita. Or make at home – recipe here.
