Ingredients
Potato – 1 big
Khoya – 2 tablespoon
Wheat flour – 3 to 4 tablespoon
Ghee – 2 to 3 tablespoon
Sugar – 1 cup
Powdered sugar – 1 tablespoon
Cardamom Powder – 1 teaspoon
Oil – for deep frying
Directions
- Boil potato till soft. Remove the skin and mash it nicely.
- In a kadai put two tablespoon ghee and fry the wheat flour till you get nice aroma.
- Mix fried wheat flour, mashed potato, khoya and powdered sugar together and make a soft dough. Make small round or oblong balls.
- Put the sugar in a vessel and add enough water to cover it. Bring to boil. When it starts boiling, reduce the heat and allow to boil for few minutes. Add cardamom powder and keep aside.
- Heat oil in a kadai. Fry the balls in a medium heat till it turns golden brown. Remove and put it in the sugar syrup. Allow to soak in the syrup at least for half an hour.
