Ingredients
Idiyappam – 1 big bowl
Onion – 1
Green Chillies – 2
Fresh ginger – a small piece
Coconut gratings – 2 tablespoon
Curry leaves – few
Lemon juice – 1 tablespoon
Mustard – ½ teaspoon
Urad dhal – 1 teaspoon
Oil – 1 tablespoon
Directions
- Chop onion, green chillies and ginger finely.
- Gently take out the idiyappam strings and make it loose.
- In a kadai put the oil and when it is hot add mustard.
- When it pops up, add urad dhal and fry lightly.
- Add chopped onion, green chillies, ginger and curry leaves.
- Fry till the onion turn slightly brown.
- Now add idiyappam strings and mix gently.
- Add lemon juice and little salt.
- Add finally coconut gratings and once again stir well.
