Indian Christmas Recipes

Christmas time is here once again and it is the season of peace and goodwill. This is a time for caring and sharing family and friends. It is also a time of feasting.

Apart from varieties of cakes, cookies and other sweets following are some of the special items prepared in Indian homes during Christmas time.

Another interesting aspect is drawing Christmas Kolam. In South India people draw big kolam every day during the Tamil month “Margazhi” (December-January). Since Christmas is coming in the month of Margazhi, on Christmas Day, irrespective of their Religion, people include a “Cross” or a “Christmas Tree” or “Jingle Bells” in their Kolam design.
