Fruit Payasam

This delightful fruit custard dessert combines the creaminess of custard with the natural sweetness of mixed fruits. Cooked in a light sugar syrup, the fruit pieces add a burst of flavor and texture, while the fried cashew nuts and raisins offer a satisfying crunch. Enhanced by the warm aroma of cardamom, this dessert is perfect for any occasion. Served hot or chilled, it’s a versatile and indulgent treat that’s both comforting and refreshing.

A variety of fruits can be used for the mixed fruit payasam. In this recipe, I used apple, chicko, papaya, pomegranate, and orange.
