Papaya Milk Shake

Bright, creamy and naturally sweet, this Papaya Milk Shake is a summer favorite. Ready in minutes with just ripe papaya, milk and a touch of sugar. Add cardamom or almond (badam) mix to deepen the flavor or keep it simple. Serve chilled for a refreshing, silky treat any time of day.

Papaya Milk Shake is a quick, refreshing drink made by blending ripe papaya pieces with sugar into a smooth puree, then pulsing in chilled milk and your chosen flavorings for just a second or two. Serve it cold for a creamy, fruity treat. For extra aroma, swap essence for a pinch of cardamom powder, or boost the richness by adding a tablespoon of MTR Badam Mix (a great alternative to milk powder).

Ingredients

  • Papaya fruit pieces – 1 medium cup

  • Milk – 1 small cup

  • Milk powder or cream – 1 tablespoon

  • Sugar – 1 teaspoon (optional)

  • Any desired essence – few drops (Optional)

Directions

  • Put papaya pieces along with sugar in a mixie and grind it to a smooth puree. Then add milk and other ingredients and grind it for one to two seconds. Delicious Milk Shake is ready. Serve chilled.
  • Tips: Instead of essence, you can add a pinch of cardamom powder also. Mostly I add a tablespoon of MTR Badam Mix for milk shakes and payasam. In the above Milk Shake also I have added Badam Mix instead of milk powder.
