  1. Dear kamala Mam,

What is meant by Lima Beans in Tamil?….

    Pls explain me

  2. Hi Radha,

Lima beans is like "Mochai Kottai", but it is larger than Mochai Kottai and look like "Double Beans"

  3. Hi kamala,
Does the Lima beans have to be pressure cooked?will it be soft enough just to add it along with brinjal?
    Please clarify. Thanks, Lakshmi

  4. Hi Lakshmi,

If you are using fresh lima beans, you can add it along with brinjal. The cooking time will be same for fresh beans and brinjal. However, if you use dry one, you have to soak it and pressure cook till it is soft and add it to the curry.

  5. My cousin recommended this blog and she was totally right keep up the fantastic work!
