Vazhakkai Puzhi Curry is a flavorful dish made using raw banana. Start by peeling and cutting the banana into medium-sized pieces, then soaking them in water. For the spice mix, dry fry red chilies, coriander seeds, pepper, and fenugreek, then coarsely grind them. Prepare tamarind juice by soaking tamarind in water or use tamarind paste mixed with water. In a kadai, heat oil and add mustard seeds; once they pop, incorporate asafoetida and curry leaves. Add the banana pieces, turmeric, and salt, stirring well before adding the tamarind juice and water. Cover and cook until the banana is soft. Then, remove the lid and simmer on low heat until the excess water is absorbed. Finally, sprinkle the ground chili powder and stir-fry for a few seconds to finish the dish. Enjoy this tangy and spicy curry as a side with rice or roti!
This dish is served for lunch or dinner with steamed rice.

I usually make this at home but I use only red chilli powder and turmeric powder. Your idea of putting coriander seed, fenugreek and pepper seems good. Shall try it sometime.
