How to make
Aval (Poha) Vadai is a delicious Indian snack made from flattened rice. To prepare, start by adding Poha Instant Mix to a bowl and soaking it in boiling water for 10 minutes. Meanwhile, finely chop onions, green chilies, ginger, and curry leaves. Once the Poha is ready, mix in the chopped ingredients. Add red chili powder, asafetida powder, besan flour, rice flour, and salt. Stir everything together until it forms a thick dough. Shape the dough into small balls and flatten them into vadai. Fry the vadai in hot oil until they turn golden brown. Serve hot with your choice of chutney for a tasty treat!

Thankyou for this recipe. I tried it today. The vadas are really tasty – crisp on the outside and nice and soft on the inside. Instead of the instant mix I added plain Poha. They are so quick and easy to make.
