I received a Gift Hamper of “Mother’s Recipe” instant products from Mother’s Recipe Team for participating in the ‘Mother’s Recipe: Innovative Recipe Challenge’. I picked up the “Poha Instant Mix” and made the “Poha Rolls” with instant Jamun mix. Here is the recipe:
Soak rice and urad dhal separately for 5 to 6 hours. Fenugreek seeds can be added along with urad dhal. Soak oats and aval together half-an-hour to one hour before grinding. You can use mixie for grinding. Grind urad dhal and fenugreek to a soft paste. Then grind rice, oats […]
Tip: In both the above methods, before adding the soaked poha , just microwave it for 2 minutes and add to the seasoning. This way the poha blends well with the seasoning and cook quickly.
It is not ordinary Pori. It is made from Aval or Poha by dry frying it and available during Karthigai in shops.
