Beetroot halwa is a sweet dessert made from grated beetroot, sugar, and ghee (clarified butter). Serve this halwa warm or chilled as per your preference. Enjoy your homemade halwa!
This halwa made by cooking beetroot until tender, grinding it into a smooth paste, and simmering it with ghee and a quick-roasted touch of wheat flour. Sugar is stirred in until it melts and the mixture thickens into a glossy halwa, then finished with fragrant cardamom and crunchy fried cashews. Spoon it into a greased bowl to set slightly, and serve warm for a rich, colorful treat.

Hi kamala,
I found this recipe useful. I need one small clarification whether nutmeg powder is compulsary for this recipe.
Nutmeg powder gives the authentic halwa flavour. Otherwise it is not compulsory to use it.
