This flavorful and spicy garlic chutney is the perfect accompaniment to Idli and dosa. Its aromatic blend of spices adds a punch of deliciousness to your meal. Additionally, it can be used as a delectable spread for making Poondu Dosa, further enhancing the taste and texture of the dish.

Ingredients

  • Garlic pearls – 15 to 20 Nos

  • Red Chilli  –  10 to 15 Nos

  • Salt – 1 teaspoon or as per taste

  • Gingelly oil – 1 or 2 tablespoons

Directions

  • Put garlic pearls, red chillies and salt in a mixie jar and grind it to a fine paste. 
  • Transfer to a bowl and pour oil over the chutney and mix well.

Notes

  • You can add the oil directly to the chutney. Or you can heat some oil on a tadka pan and add it to the chutney.
