Ingredients

  • Spinach – 10 to 15 leaves

  • Green chillies – 2 to 3

  • Garlic pearls – 4 to 5

  • Coconut gratings – 1/2 cup

  • Lemon juice – 1 teaspoon

  • Salt – 1/2 teaspoon or as per taste

  • Oil – 1 teaspoon

Directions

  • In a kadai, add one teaspoon of oil. Once hot, include green chillies and garlic pearls, frying briefly.
  • Next, introduce spinach leaves and sauté for just two to three seconds. Remove from heat and let cool.
  • Combine with coconut gratings and salt, then grind into a coarse paste.
  • Finish by stirring in lemon juice until well mixed.
