Garlic is packed with lots of medicinal values. Garlic is a natural antiseptic, and help to prevent heart disease and cancer. Studies show garlic can reduce blood pressure, bad cholesterol and avoid blood clots which could potentially lead to heart attack or stroke. Garlic is an excellent source of manganese, vitamin B6 and vitamin C and selenium. It can suppress the growth of tumors and helps ward off most infections.
Due to its strong smell, and for religious restrictions, some people do not eat garlic.
