This side dish is made with garlic and yoghurt (curd). This garlic raita goes together with grilled vegetables, pulao and kichadi.

Ingredients

  • Garlic flakes – 10

  • Red Chili Powder – 2 to 3 pinches

  • Oil – 1 teaspoon

  • Salt – 1/4 teaspoon or as per taste

  • Curd (yoghurt) – 1 cup

Directions

  • Chop garlic flakes finely.
  • Fry it in a teaspoon of oil till it become golden brown.
  • Beat the curd.  Add salt and the fried garlic.  Mix it well.
  • Sprinkle red chilli powder and stir well.
