Ingredients
- Cauliflower – 1
- Coriander seeds (Daniya) – 1 tablespoon
- Red Chillies – 3 to 4
- Curry leaves – few
- Onion – 1
- Turmeric Powder – 1/4 teaspoon
- Pepper powder – 2 pinches
- Oil – 2 teaspoon
- Coconut Gratings – 2 tablespoons
- Coriander Leaves – few
- Salt – 1 teaspoon or as per taste
Directions
- Separate the cauliflower florets and chop it. Put it in boiling water for few seconds and remove.
- Chop Onion finely.
- In a small kadai put the coriander seeds (daniya), red chillies and curry leaves. Dry fry till hot to touch. Cool it and powder it.
- In a kadai put the oil and add red chillies and the chopped onion. Fry for few seconds.
- Add cauliflower and stir fry for few minutes. Add salt, turmeric powder and mix well. Cover with a lid and cook for 2 to 3 minutes. No need to add water. If you want just sprinkle a handful of water.
- Add the spice powder and stir well. Cook for another 5 to 6 minutes.
- Sprinkle pepper powder and mix well.
- Add coconut gratings and chopped coriander leaves.
- Mix well and remove.
