Yam (Senai) fry is a delicious and crispy dish made from fresh or frozen yam. To prepare, start by peeling the yam and cutting it into 2-inch pieces. Cook the yam in an open vessel until it is soft but not overcooked. Once cooked, place the yam in a bowl. Season it with red chili powder, turmeric powder, besan flour, rice flour, corn flour, and salt. Mix well to coat each piece. Heat oil in a kadai and fry the seasoned yam pieces one by one until they turn golden brown. Enjoy this flavorful snack as an appetizer or side dish!
