Papaya Orange Halwa is a bright, fruity twist on traditional halwa—made by puréeing ripe papaya and cooking it with sugar until thick and glossy. Fresh orange juice is then stirred in and simmered until fully blended, adding a gentle citrus zing. Once the mixture leaves the sides of the kadai, ghee is mixed in for richness, and it’s finished with fragrant cardamom powder and crunchy cashews (no frying needed). A simple, aromatic dessert with a vibrant papaya-orange flavor.
This unique halwa is made with papaya and orange. It is garnished with cashew nuts and cardamom powder. We can prepare this in microwave oven also.

Thank you for your kind words. You can add jaggery instead of sugar. However, jaggery will dominate the flavour of other ingredients. But with certain ingredients like ragi/beetroot, you can make halwa with jaggery.
