- Idli batter – 2 to 3 cups
- Stuffing :
- Potato Masala or
- Any Hot chutney or
- Anything you like
- Grease the idli plate with ghee. Pour a tablespoon of idli batter. Then put the stuffing one tablespoon on top of the batter. Then again pour one tablespoon idli batter to cover the stuffing. Steam it for ten to twelve minutes.
- If you use green chutney or red chutney as stuffing, you will get nice flavoured idli.
