Stuffed idli is prepared using regular idli batter, filled with chutney or other fillings.

Ingredients

  • Idli batter – 2 to 3 cups

  • Stuffing
  • Potato Masala or

  • Any Hot chutney or

  • Anything you like

Directions

  • Grease the idli plate with ghee, then pour a tablespoon of idli batter onto it. Add a tablespoon of stuffing over the batter, followed by another tablespoon of batter to cover the stuffing.
  • Steam for ten to twelve minutes.
  • Using green or red chutney as stuffing will yield idlis with a delightful flavor.
