Poondu Podi

This chutney poondu podi is made with garlic. This goes well with Idli/dosa. It can also be mixed with hot rice and have it as Garlic Rice.

This simple and quick chutney poondu podi is made with garlic. This goes well with Idli/dosa. It can also be mixed with hot rice and have it as Garlic Rice.

Ingredients

  • Garlic flakes (small size) – 15 to 20 Nos

  • Pea Nuts – a handful

  • Pottukadalai (Chutney Dal) – a handful

  • Red Chilli Powder – 1 teaspoon

  • Salt – 3/4 teaspoon or as per taste

Directions

  • Peel the garlic. In a mixie put the peanut, pottukadalai, red chilli powder and salt and grind it to a coarse powder.
  • Before removing add the garlic flakes and grind it for 3 to 4 rounds and then remove.
