Ingredients
Potato (Medium size) – 2
Carrot (Medium size) – 2
Onion – 1
Garlic cloves (small size) – 2
Butter or Olive Oil – 1 tablespoon
Bay Leaf – 1
Water – 4 to 5 cups
Pepper Powder and Salt – As required
Directions
- Wash, peel, and dice the potato and carrot into small cubes, aiming for two cups of each.
- Finely chop the onion.
- In a pressure cooker, heat butter or olive oil (or any cooking oil of your choice, except gingelly oil). Add the chopped onion and sauté until the raw smell dissipates. Introduce garlic cloves, diced potatoes, and carrots, continuing to sauté for two minutes on a low flame.
- Add 4 to 5 cups of water along with the bay leaf. Seal the cooker with the lid and cook for 3 whistles. After a few minutes and once the pressure has subsided, open the lid and remove the bay leaf.
- Use a hand blender to blend the contents into a smooth consistency. Season with pepper powder and salt.
- Serve the soup warm with wheat bread.

Notes
- If using a mixie (blender) to blend the soup, allow the contents to cool first to avoid accidents. Optionally, strain the water from the mixture and set it aside. Blend the potato and carrot pieces to a fine paste, then return this paste and the strained water to a vessel. Mix well and gently heat (do not boil) for a few seconds before serving.
looks bright and awesome

Would this work without onions and garlic? I am very sensitive to both of them. Can we add some other vegetables like cabbage or green peas too? Thanks in advance.
Yes. Without onion and garlic also you can make. Adding cabbage or green peas also good idea. Please try and let me know your feedback.
