• Maida – 2 cups
  • Rice flour – 1 cup
  • Jeera – 1 tsp
  • Green chilly – 3
  • A pinch of cooking soda
  • A pinch of turmeric powder
  • Salt – ½ tsp
  • Buttermilk – 1 cup
  • Oil for deep frying

Method:

Mix maida, rice flour, jeera, green chillies (chopped), tumeric, cooking soda and salt. Add buttermilk to this and make a thick batter. Batter should be thicker than bajji batter. Heat oil in a kadai. When it is hot, take a tablespoon of batter and drop in the oil. You can drop four to five at a time. Fry in the oil till it become golden yellow.
