Ingredients
2 cups raw rice
water (enough to soak the rice)
Directions
- Soak the raw rice four hours.
- Drain the water completely.
- Add the soaked rice in a mixie and grind to a fine powder in batches.
- Put this powder in a large kadai and fry on medium flame till the moisture evaporates.
- When you touch the flour, it should not stick to your hand.
- Cool it and sieve it.
- You can store this flour and use it for preparing idiyappam.
