Keerai Pakoda

Keerai pakoda is a delicious and crispy snack that is popular in South Indian cuisine. These fritters are made with a batter of chopped greens mixed with chickpea flour and spices. They are deep fried until golden brown. They are served hot with chutney or sauce. They are not only tasty but also a great way to sneak in some nutritious greens into your diet. Serve keerai pakoda as a snack or appetizer at your next gathering and watch them disappear in no time!

You can substitute green chillies with a teaspoon of red chilli powder. This will add heat to the recipe. Additionally, you can swap out rice flour for rawa to achieve a different texture.

How to make Keerai Pakoda

Keerai Pakoda is a savory Indian snack. It is made by mixing besan (gram flour), rice flour, chopped ginger, and garlic. You also add green chillies, peanuts, and chopped greens with salt. This mixture forms a dough. Small portions of the dough are then dropped into hot oil and fried until golden brown and crisp. Once cooked, the pakodas are drained on paper towels to remove excess oil. This results in a deliciously crunchy treat perfect for snacking.
