Beetroot Banana Kesari is a vibrant and flavorful twist on the traditional kesari. It combines the natural sweetness of banana with the rich color of beetroot. It also includes the subtle earthiness of beetroot. Fresh beetroot is blended into a fine puree. The puree is strained to extract its juice. Ripe bananas are ground into a smooth paste. Roasted cashew nuts and raisins add a delightful crunch, while aromatic cardamom enhances the flavor. To prepare the dish, first roast semolina (rava) in ghee. Next, cook it with banana puree, beetroot juice, and milk. Add sugar to achieve the perfect consistency. Stirred until thick and glossy, this unique kesari is an eye-catching, delicious dessert perfect for festive occasions.

We should add only the beetroot juice?
Ji Jayanthi,
In this recipe, I have added beetroot juice to give natural colour to the kesari. You can also use carrot juice and make Carrot Banana Kesari. Or even for normal kesari, we can use fresh veg juices to get natural colour.
Mam , me and my Husband never like Beetroot ,. But after seeing these , i have tried few beetroot recipes which we love to do frequently. Tastier and healthier. Thanks !

Rawa is “semolina”.

Dear Mam,
Should we cook the beetroot and then grind it? Rawa is large size or small size?
No need to cook. Just grind it raw. Small size rawa blends well. However, you can also use bigger size raw too.
