I keep getting confused with the Dal varities. should i use whole green gram Dal here? Moong Dal is actually the broken Dal?

    • Dal is always referred to broken grain/whole gram. Moong dal is broken dal. You can use whole green gram also. But cooking time and taste will vary.

  5. Is passi parruppu , sorry parruppu,
    Used in this recipe.

  6. Correction for split moong dal
