I prepared this for breakfast today and it came well. The tomato flavour is new and had a nice subtle taste. The dosas however did not turn up thin, they were a little thick, may be I need to dilute the batter a little more next time. Thanks for the nice recipe.
Hi Shri,
Thank you for visiting my site. Yes. The batter should be thinner than the normal dosa batter. (Like rava dosa batter).
can we post some recipes in the site
Hi Shri,
Yes. You are most welcome to post your recipes in my site. I will add it under "Guest Recipes" with your name. You may please mail the recipe to the e-mail: [email protected]
Hi Kamala.. Tried your Tomato Dosa today & it turned out awesome (pls name it instant tomato dosa :-).. It was not as crispy as your dosa (in the pic u posted) but truly a wonderful recipe.. You are a warehouse of recipes. Continue your good work..
Hi Maithireyi,
Thank you for visiting and your kind comments. If you prepare with ordinary dosa batter mixed with tomato paste, you will get crispy dosa.
Thank you Kamala for the suggestion.. I'll try next time & post the feedback..

Should we use apple tomato or sour tomato
You can use any tomato. But using sour tomato will make the dosa also slight sour.
Hi Kamala, What will be the best sidedish to try with this dosa?
Thanks
Hi Neela,
Since this dosai is little tangy in taste, plain coconut chutney or coriander/mint chutney go well with this.

Its very usefull recipies .thanks for mam kamala
we made it today mam, nice……thanks
I followed the recipe but my dosa turned out rubbery n thick i used roasted rava was that a blunder ?
The matter may be thick and sometimes roasted rawa will not soak quickly. And also quality of the rice flour also make the difference. If you find it difficult to make with rawa, then add the tomato puree to the regular idli batter and try.
