This dosai made with oats and wheat flour can be served with chutney/sambar. This is easy to make and no need for long fermentation like the plain dosai.

Hi Arthy,
Thank you for visiting my site and your comments.
Hi Kamala,
I found the Oat & Wheat Dosai very innovative & a healthy alternative to Rava dosai.I tried the recipe & it came out really well. I did customize it by frying Onions, chillies & adding it to the flour mix.
I liked all your kootu recipes & in fact this would be a "kootu varam" for us. 🙂
Thank You!
Hi Radha,
It is good idea to fry onion and chillies before adding to the flour. Making Kootu is the best way to consume more veg and dhal.
Thank you for trying my recipes.
Thanku Kampala for this wonderful recipe…. Just tried it out and it came out very well……
Thank you Seetha.
hi aunty,
I am a beginner in cooking. When i read oat wheat dosa receipe i thought to make it.. But i dnt knw how much quantity of oats and wheat flour have to take.. So aunty can u pls tell me how much of both is required for making 10-12 dosas??
Hi Aswathy,
I have given the ingredients with the quantity in the recipe itself. You will find it in the right side. For the quantity mentioned in the recipe, you will be able to make 10-12 dosas.
What happens if we don’t add Wheat flour? What would it taste like?
It will be very sticky and may not be able to spread the flour on the tawa.
